I camped at Kanpuzan last night, and spent hours bushwacking, looking for mountain vegetables.  This is really a Japanese thing.  I’ve never heard of so many people doing this in America.

However, living off the land is becoming a popular way of life.  Could you live off the land?

わらび is called bracken in English, but I’ve never heard of anyone eating it.

ワラビ― is called wallaby in English, and maybe someone eats them???
